Mary-Land

Mary-Land is a short contemporary dance film shot during the summer of 2020.

Mary-Land explores the boundaries of the female experience in Irish society and the interaction between our collective past and our present reality.

The architecture of some of the earliest social housing of the state form a backdrop to the movement. This is a nod to our history as we look forward to the future.

Filmed in and around Maryland, Dublin 8 and Glasnevin.
