Join Inishowen Carnival Group for an interactive workshop and learn how to make simple hats and flags at home. A link to download step by step instructions will be included.

Overlaid against a backdrop of time lapse photography of polystyrene sculpture, interviews with our costume maker in the process of making costume and stunning footage of celtic design lanterns being made, you’ll be invited to participate in a workshop teaching you how to make some amazing props for your own parade from home.

Join us in a series of workshops supported by RTE, exploring each element of parade pageantry to help you to create your own spectacular Virtual Parade . Get creative, learn how to make props, costumes and headdresses then find out about pageant choreography and movement to give your Virtual Parade that touch of magic.

Inishowen Carnival Group is a non profit making charity and limited company run by a voluntary board of directors with specific projects supported by a team of local volunteers. We annually organise and take part in a range of festival parades and public events. Founded in 1996 we have performed annually at the St Patrick’s Festival Dublin ever since. Since 2016 we have organised a performance and sculpture installation in Letterkenny Town Park as part of Culture Night in association with Donegal County Council. Other recent events have included Carndonagh Halloween Festival Parade, Foyle Halloween Festival Parade/ Installations in Derry and Strabane, Mary from Dungloe Festival Parade, St Patrick’s Parades in Newry, Downpatrick, Armagh, Enniskillen.
